Department Calendar (Shifts, Alerts, Events, Personnel Leaves) |
A simple calendar interface shows scheduled department shifts and events with alerts for any day that is not adequately covered with the number of required personnel. Each day view allows user to signup for shifts they are qualified for, and shows who is out of town, on a business trip, or on a leave of absence for that day. This gives an indication as to how many people are out of town in case there is a need for extra coverage. July 4th is a day many staff are out of town while there is a higher potential need for on call personnel to respond. onDuty tracks this information so your department can be prepared. |  |

| Shift Exchanges | With no required administrative oversight or management, staff can request shift exchanges from other qualified staff members. Staff members may offer shifts for exchange and the staff member requesting the exchange may choose which shift is best for them. The shifts are then exchanged, both parties notified and the transaction is recorded. |  |

| Time Clock | With the optional onDuty Time Clock module, you can turn any internet accessible department computer into a time clock. You can maintain a time clock at any of your stations, and track where each user clocks in and out from. Duties may be set to automatically clock in and clock out at certain times, or they may be required to be manually entered. Unscheduled station staffing can also be recorded to easily generate reports showing accurate station staffing throughout each day and night. |  |

| Mobile Interface | onDuty has been optimized for web browsers to efficiently show the most important station staffing information necessary to ensure duties are properly staffed, and any understaffed duties are alerted. Staff members can easily check their upcoming shifts, track their recent time cards, and keep informed of department staffing from anywhere they can connect to the internet. |  |

| Reports | In seconds, you can run a variety of reports showing accumulated time cards for each staff member, total station staffing hours for each day, and the number of shifts worked by each staff member for any time period. |  |

| Intra Department Messaging | By publishing messages to your staff through onDuty, you can avoid over use of email and allow your staff to focus on department information when they are attending to their department scheduling instead of randomly throughout the day. Messages can be short, like requesting staff to fill certain days, or detailed, like informing staff of new policies. |  |

| Event Signups | For department events where certain staffing levels are required, a sign up sheet allows staff members to fill a requirement without having to call in, or come to the station to sign up.
